POEM

I never thought I would feel so weak
Losing you, after all this
I let you go when I needed you most, 
But I guess it was because you were just too close.

My thoughts keep telling me I don't need you, 
and so in my heart's point of view.
Yet, I know I could be okay without your touch, 
Which reminds me that I really don't need you much.

I know we all make mistakes once in a while, 
Have I made one too many when looking at your smile
It's like picking a perfect apple from a tree, 
But realizing that it could just be deadly.

Just want to let you know that feelings can be shushed, 
Which reminds me that I really don't need you that much

when you cry, it makes me smileeee...
